Home Education (Part.1)

It's natural that babies can't distinguish good from evil.
I think that one guradually learns good and evil in education by his and her parents.
If parents regard their child as a pet, and consider earning as most important but other thing as trivial, the child will grow to an animal-like person surely.
The parent's thought of having "good spirit" as significant as well as earning is sure to be succeeded by their child.
For example, when parents recognise the importance of affection and raise their child with sufficient love, the child comes to be understand love as more important than anything and to affect others sufficiently.
However, when parents think that affection is letting their child do things freely, maybe the child grows to a person who is animal-like in a sence, indiscreet and terrible inside.
The most horrible thing in the world is selfishness.
Selfishness always generates a conflict.
Human is the being which can't live without serving for others from sympathy.
It's because human is the social being which can't live without working for others.
Working means serving for other's satisfaction but not for self-satisfaction. So, I think that a human has to learn and acquire in the childhood the custom of thinking about how to please others.
It is the mind of caring and serving others.
In addtion, a human has to be instructed in good and evil.
There are a lot of virtues like conscience, prudence, apprehension and devotion.
I think that parents' learning is more essential than anything in home education.

In Japan, thare is the good saying of "praise seven times and scold three times".
Being praised is being recognized. It followed by being independent.
I think that it's better asking than scolding for education.
