Life is a game

Though the comparison may be misunderstood, we can say that life is like a sports game. This means that, like in a game, we can enjoy ourselves and test our ability while following a set of rules.
Those people whose aim is to compete against and beat others will ultimately face difficulty and unhappiness in their lives.
Trying to build one's happiness at the expense of others' happiness is a serious violation of one of the most basic rules of life.
Generally the bigger the game is, the stricter are the rules.
The vital rules of the game of life are based on common-sense and are universally accepted. Another important rule is that one should not act with shame or against one's conscience.
By following these important rules while playing the game of life, you will really be able to test your ability.
The most important qualities that we need both in sports games and life are "judgment," "skill," and "determination." Without making use of all three of these, a person will fail, whether in life or in a game.
At work or at home, people who don't have the "judgment" to read situations by reflecting in the manner "what will happen if I do this?" will continually face difficulties and suffering.
On the other hand, if you develop the "skill" to solve problems with positive thinking, you will find that each hardship you face can bring new opportunities.
But, if you don't have the "determination" to continuously do your best in life, without ever giving up, happiness will never come your way.
If you can make use of all these three qualities and enjoy your life with the thrills you feel when you play a game, you will have happiness.

Shakespeare said a life is a drama. Someone else said life is like the flow of a river. The main thing is to find out how to fill your life with joyful experiences.
