Airplanes take off from an airport high into the skies. Then they return to the airport for rest,
refueling, maintenance and repair. So it is with people too. We go to work for half the day, and then come home and rest for the other half. We have to take good care of both our minds and bodies by taking a bath and by relaxing. If we do not release accumulated tension we will become crippled by stress and certainly fall ill. The human body needs relaxation. So, home is like an airport where we return to recuperate from the wear and tear of work. A home should be an indispensable refuge. At home we should feel more relaxed than any other place. It should be a place where we can heal our injured minds. The home should offer us a release from tension and make us feel at ease, then our natural healing powers will work most effectively. And if there is the warm, caring presence of other people, we will be able to heal and recharge our vitality quickly with our natural powers. Airplanes must fly under stressful conditions, such as high altitudes of several thousand meters. In the same way, we have to face great stress in our work. To recover from this kind of stress and to rest the body and the mind, we need sufficient relaxation in a warm, peaceful atmosphere. For the human body, the balance between its sympathetic nervous system, which is connected to the desire to work, and its parasympathetic nervous system, which is connected to the desire to rest, is very important. Just as in the case of airplanes, people can only work productively if they take proper care of themselves. |

Whether man or woman, those who cannot manage their own families have no chance of producing any significant achievements in the wider society. People who care deeply about others are protected both by other people and the forces of nature. |
